Restorative Breathwork for Healing Practitioners
Clearing the Healer’s Body: Breathwork for Therapists and Helpers
Led by Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac
8/28 and 12/4, 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Join us for a 90-minute guided breathwork experience with seasoned facilitator Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac, who brings over eight years of experience leading breathwork groups.
In a time when so many of us are navigating the collapse of our nervous systems (dorsal vagal responses) —characterized by shutdown, exhaustion, and a pull toward disconnection—more stimulation is not the answer. What we're truly craving is space: to release, to soften, and to come back into ourselves.
These breathwork offerings are designed specifically for healing professionals—therapists, bodyworkers, space-holders, and helpers—who are often the ones absorbing emotional residue from others while holding their own. These sessions will offer a gentle, supportive container to clear energetic buildup, reconnect with your own internal rhythms, and release what no longer belongs to you.
Expect less hustle, more restoration. Through guided breathwork, we’ll tap into your parasympathetic nervous system, supporting regulation and renewal without overstimulation. This is a time just for you—a place where your own needs are centered and honored.
Come exhale what you’ve been carrying. Leave feeling lighter, grounded, and more attuned to your inner world.
Our time together will be spent completing a grounding introduction to the breathwork practice, moving into a 45- minute breathwork session, and closure with a self and group reflection.
What to bring: a yoga mat, comfy clothes, and anything else that helps you feel cozy and support (think blankets, eye pillows, etc)
Cost: $45 per class on either 8/28 or 12/4 or $80 for both classes (8/28 and 12/4)

Breathwork is a powerful experiential tool that can bring up strong emotions and physical sensations. It helps access a non-ordinary state of consciousness through breath and music, supporting deep self-exploration and personal transformation. While it can be a profound complement to psychotherapy, it is not a substitute for therapeutic care.
This practice may not be appropriate for you if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy, have experienced a recent TBI, seizures, retinal detachment, unmedicated glaucoma, cardiovascular issues, or major psychiatric conditions.
If you have any significant health concerns, please inform the facilitator in advance or consult your physician before participating.
